Franklin County and North Quabbin Healing and Hope Breakfast
The 2015 Franklin County and North Quabbin Children's Advocacy Center breakfast at the Terrazza Restaurant at the Country Club of Greenfield was an enormous success and helped educate community members about child abuse and the new Franklin County CAC.
This year's breakfast will be on June 3rd.

April Flag Raisings
In April, the CAC raised flags in Northampton for Child Abuse Awareness Month.
17th Annual Child Abuse Awareness Month Breakfast
On April 7th, 2016 the CAC hosted its 17th Annual Child Abuse Awareness Month kickoff breakfast at the Log Cabin in Holyoke. The even traised $25,000in donations and drew over 275 community members and business owners.
Valley Gives 2016
On May 3, 2016 , in 24-hours of online donating to Pioneer Valley non-profit organizations, the CAC raised approximately $$1,235.00. Thank you to our online donors.
Responding to Child Abuse in our Communities
On Friday, October 25, 2013 the Northwestern Children's Advocacy Center hosted a medical conference for prosecutors, law enforcement officials, health professionals, and social workers. Experts in their fields, Dr. Alice Newton, Dr. Christine Barron, Dr. Stephen Boos, Dr. Stephanie Block, ADA Sylvia Rudman, and Dr. James Chu, presented on topics including: abusive head trauma, child sexual and physical abuse, child abuse mimics, dynamics of disclosure, and testifying as an expert witness. An enormous and heartfelt thank you to the presenters for sharing their time and crucial information, and to all of those who helped make the first of many Symposiums on Child Abuse possible!
